As Thanksgiving approaches we like to take a moment to reflect on all of the things we have to be grateful for. When we asked the team what they are grateful for, Joel’s response encapsulated how all of us at SH&J feel, “I am grateful for clients who trust us to manage their portfolios.”

From all of us, thank you for your trust in us. We are so grateful for you!

Here are a few other things we are grateful for:

Life itself. I think we forget what an absolute miracle it actually is and we take it for granted, far too often, of how wonderful it is to just simply be alive and have the opportunity to have relationships with others. Also, despite many of the issues this country has, I’m very grateful to have been born in this country and to be able to enjoy the freedom it provides.
– Karlton Childress

My family, the people that I work with and the work I do.
– Harold Kirschner

My family.
– Kerry Poorman

The love and support of my family; my faith; the beautiful setting in which I live; for getting to do the work I enjoy doing with terrific clients; and for the wherewithal to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
– Mimi Hackley

Health, opportunity, family, friends, and chocolate.
– Julie Fletcher

I am grateful for my husband, my child (soon to be children) and the rest of my family. I am also grateful that I have such wonderful friends to extend my great support system.
– Jessica Sare

A job that I love, my new husband, family and friends, and our one-year old golden retriever, Sammie.
– Brittany Samples

My health and supportive friends and family.
